Marco excelled at Right Back, showcasing playmaking, speed, vision, and composure in his Junior season. With 3 goals and 17 assists, he impacted both ends of the field. As captain, he led his team to a League Title, CIF San Diego Championship, and State Title, finishing #6 in San Diego and top 50 in California (MaxPreps).

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Marco had an impressive defensive performance in the CIF State Championship against Pasadena Polytechnic, the reigning six-time CIF section champions. He shut down opponents, won critical tackles, intercepted key passes, and sealed the victory with a game-winning assist. Recognizing his impact, the opposing coach named him MVP after the game.
Marco’s defensive tenacity, explosiveness, and high-paced style of play have set him apart in the UPSL. His sharp touch and precise distribution have made him a key starter, consistently impacting the game on both ends of the field.
